Nag with Surendra

Action King Nagarjuna, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming filmsGaganam andRagada, has signed a film under the direction of Surendar Reddy of Ashok and Kickfame. More details about this Nagarjuna-Surendar Reddy project are yet to be known.

Nagarjuna is presently busy with the shooting of Rajanna under Vijayendra Prasad’s direction, while Surender Reddy is shooting Jr. NTR starrer Rachcha produced by Chatrapati Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Tanish In Kodipunju

Popular director B.V.V. Chowdary's Tanish starrer, produced by D.S. Rao under the banner of Sai Krishna Productions, has been titled Kodipunju.

Veteran actress Roja has been roped into play Tanish’s mother. The makers are searching for a fresh face to cast opposite Tanish as the heroine. This film will start rolling from December 1. Others details are awaited. Kodipunju is B.V.V. Chowdary’s second film after Dammunnodu which didn’t do too well at the box office.

Vettaikaaran as Puli Veta

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Vettaikaaran (2009), directed by B. Babusivan with Anushka as the heroine, is being dubbed in Telugu as Puli Veta. Noted production designer M.V. Gopala Rao has acquired the dubbing rights.

"The original was a big box office hit in Tamil Nadu. It collected almost Rs. 50 crores. The dubbing work is currently in progress. Srihari plays the role of a sincere police office in the film," Gopala Rao said. The film has dialogues by Shashank Vennelakanti, music by Vijay Anthony and lyrics by Bhuvanachandra, Vennelakanti and Vanamali.

The film revolves around a youngster Ravi (Vijay), who makes his journey from Tuticorin to Chennai to achieve his life's ambition of becoming a cop. He joins a Chennai college and makes ends meet by driving an auto rickshaw. He meets Suseela (Anushka) and falls in love with her instantaneously.

But his peaceful life takes a different turn when Ravi meets Chella (Ravi Shankar), son of a bad cop Devanayakam (Salim Ghouse), who tries to spoil the life of Ravi's classmate Uma (Sanchitha Padukone). When he tries to fight Chella, he faces trouble from Chella's father Devanayakam, the major villain of the story. What happens next? How does Ravi face the bad men? See the movie to know!

Orange Getting Flop Talk

Orange is getting disaster talk all over Andhra.
The main reason which killed the movie is flash back which is not so strong for the audience to get convinced for Hero's typical love in first half.
The 2nd half has not much entertainment or love between lead pairs.Only the rooba song was good.
Here we have to mention Genelia,s overacting also one of the reason why audience did not felt ramcharan love.
Overall we can watch Orange for 3 good songs,comedy in 1st half.

Nara Rohit with Bujji

Nara Rohit, who won accolades for his restrained acting in the role of Bhagat Panigrahi in Banam, is getting ready for his next film. Parasuram, of Yuvatha and Anjaneyulu fame, will direct it. Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, a young industrialist from Vizag, will produce the film under the SVK Cinema banner.
Vamsi Krishna says, "I am happy to make my debut with such a film. I liked the script narrated by Parasuram and gave my commitment. I'm sure it will be a landmark in our careers. It will have all the commercial elements and will appeal to one and all. A popular actress will be cast opposite Nara Rohit. Regular shooting will commence in January."

Nitya Pellikoduku in trouble!

Writer-director-actor Posani Krishna Murali’s new film Nitya Pellikoduku is in trouble owing to its tagline 'Care Of Jagadamba Centre', which allegedly refers to Vegi Jagadish, owner of the famous Jagadamba Theatre in Visakhapatnam, who was arrested recently with charges of marrying eight women!

Nitya Pellikoduku, directed by Alahari and produced by G.V. Subbaiah under the banner of Seven Hills Art Productions, is rumoured to be based on Vegi Jagadish's real life. Now, Jagadish's supporters are demanding removal of the tagline, but according to sources, the producer has decided not to remove it! What better way is there to kickstart a new controversy?

Nitya Pellikoduku has Gowri Pandit and Anjali Dwivedi as the heroines. Also in the cast are Raghunatha Reddy, Pruthvi, Kishore Das, Kalpana., Apoorva., IDPL Nirmala, Prasanna Kumar, Jenny and Sailaja. Music is by Ghantadi Krishna, cinematography by Gadiraju Srinivasa Rao and editing by Sai Srinivas.

Vishnu and Chaitu Birthday Celebrated

Today two boys of Tollywood are celebrating their birthdays. They are Manchu Vishnu and Naga Chaitanya.

While Vishnu completes 31 years of age, Naga Chaitanya completes 24 and is entering his 25th year of life.

Both Vishnu and Naga Chaitanya celebrated the birthday with their family members. 

While Naga Chaitanya is busy with a film with Tamanna, Vishnu is busy with a film with Taapsee Pannu.

5 Crores worth set for Shakthi Climax Shoot

Young Tiger Junior NTRs forthcoming mega budget project ‘Shakthi’ being directed by Mehar Ramesh is currently progressing at Annapurna Studios. It is learnt that filmmakers have built up a huge rich set worth about 5 crores to shoot the climax part. Art director Anand Sai is heading the art department. 

'Shakti' is a socio fantasy film being made on the highest budget ever in the Telugu Cinema so far. Renowned producer C Aswini Dutt is producing the film on Vyjayanthi Movies banner.  

Ileana D Cruz is playing the female lead. Manjari Fadnis is doing another key role. The film also has many big stars like Super Star Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Tamil actor Prabhu Ganesan and Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff, Sonu Sood and Pooja Bedi.

Rana as professional killer in Nenu Naa Rakshasi

Promising hero Daggubati Rana is rumoured to be playing the role a professional killer in his upcomingNenu Naa Rakshasi, directed by Puri Jagannath. Sources say that Puri has crafted the role in a new dimension with a rough look. The shooting is progressing in Hyderabad.

A trilingual being made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi by Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) under the banner of Lakshmi Narasimha Productions, the film has slim beauty Ileana as the heroine. It also has Mumaith Khan in a key role. Three music directors -- Vishal Shekar, Pappy Lhari and Viswa -- are scoring music for this flick, which has already completed two schedules, including a foreign schedule.

No Takers for Vareva..

Brahmanandam's elder son Gautham, who debuted in films with Pallakilo Pellikooturu, is back after a long gap with his second filmVareva.

While the film is all set to release on December 24, we hear that no distributor has come forward to take the film so far! According to sources, Brahmanandam is now taking personal efforts to use his references to distribute Vareva.

Vareva is a romantic action entertainer with a college backdrop. Gautham plays a happy and energetic role. Sambhavi is the female lead. It is directed by Mahi and produced by Movie Miracles. Mahesh Shankar has scored music, while cinematography is by Satish Mutyala.

Akkineni - Nandamuri Combo once again

 NTR and ANR were the heroes who made highest number of multistarrer movies together. There are 14 Movies in the combo of Akkineni and Nandamuri. And now the combination is going to repeat once again. This time its ANR working in a Bala Krishna movie.

ANR is playing the role of Valmiki in the upcoming movie of Balayya, 'Sri Rama Rajyam' under the direction of Bapu. The movie is produced by Yalamanchili Saibaba. Music by Ilayraja.

Shankar's Aadhi before Prince !

Even before Shankar's 3-Idiots (Mahesh Babu in lead role) is slated to be remade into Telugu, one of his movie is all set to grace Telugu audience.

Aadhi (Sai Pradeep Pinisetty) is the son the the the famous Telugu filmmaker who made films like Yamudiki Magudu, Pedarayudu etc.

Though a Telugu, Aadhi became a name to reckon with in the Tamil film industry and his film 'Eeram' became a hit in Tamil few months back.

This movie was produced by director Shankar. Now the film is all set to be dubbed into Telugu and Shankar wants to release this movie in another couple of months.

Well, Shankar seems to be entering Tollywood in a big way.

NAG IN DAMARUKAM

RR Movie Makers' proposed Nagarjuna starrer tentatively titled Damarukam will be launched on January 14. The film is directed by Srinivas Reddy, maker of Yamagola Malli Modalaindhi, and Venkat is the producer.

Interestingly, Nagarjuna is pairing up with Anushka for the fourth time in this film, touted to be a socio-fantasy! Other details on the cast and crew are awaited. Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is currently busy with Ragada and Rajanna.

Vettai as VETA

Director Lingusamy has roped in Arya, Madhavan and Tamannaah for his next flick titledVettai. According to the director, Vettai will be a  multi-starrer action-packed family entertainer that will have all the commercial ingredients one would associate with a Lingusamy film. Vettai will be made on a big budget by producers Dhayanidhi Alagiri and Vivek Ratnavel. The shooting will start in the first week of April 2011.

The film will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Mahesh Babu will play the lead role in the Telugu version. Actor Madhavan will play a prominent role in both versions.

VISHNU TO DIRECT PAWAN

Vishnuvardhan, who had earlier made Tamil films like Billa (with Ajith) and Sarvam (with Arya), is soon going to direct Pawan Kalyan Neelima Nagesh and Shobu Yarlagadda are going to jointly produce this untitled film. Neelima Nagesh is going to produce the film on Sanghamitra Art Productions banner where as Shobu’s Arka Media presents this movie. Shobu Yarlagadda and his banner Arka Media had recently produced Vedam and Maryada Ramanna in Telugu.

This will be the first time that Pawan Kalyan is going to work together with Vishnuvardhan. Earlier, he had acted under the direction of Tamil filmmakers like S J Suryah and Dharani. Pawan Kalyan’s recent film Puli was directed by S J Suryah. He’s currently acting in Jayanth C Paranjee’s film which is a remake of Saif Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is going to compose music for this film and it will be his first collaboration with Pawan Kalyan. P S Vinod is the cinematographer. Two heroines are expected to be cast in lead roles in this action entertainer which is expected to go on floors in February, 2011. Interestingly, Krish who had directed critically acclaimed films like Gamyam and Vedam is going to pen the dialogues for Vishnuvardhan - Pawan Kalyan’s film. Recently, it was announced that Trivikram Srinivas is going to write the dialogues for Pawan Kalyan, Trisha starrer under the direction of Jayanth C Paranjee.

The performance of Hrithik in  the last 15mins of the movie is spell bound.

S S Rajamouli, the Tollywood Successsful director’s film ‘Eega’ is all set to hit the Screens Soon. There is also a buzz that Rajamouli is eyeing on Walt-disney for taking forward this prestigious project. Another interesting news about the film is Sudeep who was seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s Rann and Phoonk is playing an antagonist in this film.The movie is said to be a fantacy film with out and out comedy in it. Rajamouli tweets he is very excited about the project which is likely to go on sets soon.

As per the director’s latest tweets the plot line of the film is said to move around a house fly. This is said to be a magnificent film combined with computer graphics and organic live action photography to generate a real world.
“Sudeep agreed to act in EEGA as antagonist. Loved his style in Rann. finally Eega is moving forward. I'm very excited,” tweets Rajamouli.

3 Music Directors for Puri's 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi'

This is happening for the first time in Telugu Cinema. Three music directors - Vishal-Sekhar (duo), Viswa and Pappi Lahari (son of renowned
music director Bappi Lahari) are scoring music for young hero Rana and porcelain beauty Ileana starrer ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi.’

The film, directed by Puri Jagannath, is currently progressing in Hyderabad.
Shooting is closer to completion. Very soon, film unit will be leaving to Bangkok for the final schedule. Filmmakers are making efforts to complete the film at the earliest possible and release in January 2011 for Sankranthi.

Cherry feared of Genelia domination!

Bubbly beauty genelia is heartbeat of those young audiences who always love to see her in performance oriented roles. After ‘Bommarillu,’ Gennie’s career was not all the same and movie by movie she mesmerized the South audience making her position very strong. After a hiatus, genelia is arriving in Telugu with ‘Orange’ besides Ramcharan and the initial talk after hearing the songs seems to be double positive.

Ramcharan while explaining his rapport with Gennie can’t stop praising her acting abilities. ‘During the rehearsals, she would be in normal acting mode and I was made to feel happy many a times for giving me scope to dominate her. Once Gennie comes before camera, it would be shocking for me. She magnifies her expressions and blows us away every time with performance. I was feared that she could easily dominate me on screen. Such is her ease in elevation of a character.’

NAGAVALLI STORY

Set against the backdrop of Mysore , the movie plot revolves around a family that is disturbed by Nagavalli.The head of the family decides to seek help and thus contacts Ram Chandra Acharya .

When Acharya realizes that the root of the problem lie in the painting of Nagavelli won by one of the three daughters in the family , Saraswathi  he decides to take help of a psychiatrist ( Captain) played by Venky to look into the matter.

Captain does a thorough homework about the family members and spell bounds each one of them with his understanding of their individual psychologies. The movie is about how the mystery is unraveled.

MAHESH AS BIG RASCAL

3 Idiots of Bollywood are turning out to be 3 Rascals in Telugu and Tamil. It is known news that Shankar is remaking 3 Idiots with Mahesh Babu doing the lead role in Telugu and Vijay stepping into the shoes of Aamir Khan in Tamil. As per the latest buzz, this film is titled as ‘3 Rascals’ in both the languages.

So, Mahesh Babu will be the big Rascal and if sources are to be believed, Sriram of Roja Poolu fame and RB Chowdary’s son Jeeva will play the roles of other 2 Rascals. Ileana is zeroed in to play the female lead whereas Satya Raj will do the role of what Boman Irani did in original.

Except Mahesh Babu, rest of the star cast will also be a part of Tamil 3 Rascals. Despite the rumors about Mahesh Babu’s displeasure about the cast, he is going to join the sets of 3 Rascals from Dec 6. 

RAGADA AUDIO ON 29 NOV

The audio of Nagarjuna’s next film Ragada will be launched on November 29th. Shilpa Kala Vedia, where quite a few grand audio launches have been conducted recently, will host this audio launch program.
Ragada stars Nagarjuna in an out and out mass role, along with Anushka and Priyamani. Both Anushka and Priyamani look extremely glamorous in the film, in the promotional material released so far. It is said that director Veeru Potla is shaping the film to make it a definite winner.
Music for Ragada has been given by S.Thaman. It is produced by D.Siva Prasad Reddy on his banner Kamakshi Enterprises Banner, who has already announced that the movie will be released on December 17th.
